Microgel Duvet Insert

Microgel fibre is spun a hundred times finer than a human hair. That is what gives it the hand of down — soft, silky, and heavy in the way a good duvet should be — without the price and without the feathers.

The fineness also moves moisture, so it runs cooler in summer and warmer in winter than a standard polyester fill. And unlike down, it washes and dries without clumping.

The shell is 100% cotton rather than polyester, which is the other reason this one feels different from the Fibre insert.

If anyone in the bed reacts to feathers, this is the insert to choose.

Machine wash at 30 °C. Tumble dry on low or no heat. Do not iron. Do not bleach. Dry cleaning is also fine. Spot-clean a mark rather than washing the whole duvet.

OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, as declared by the manufacturer — laboratory tested for harmful substances.

"Hypoallergenic" describes the synthetic fill, which gives dust mites and allergens little to settle into and contains no feathers. It is not a medical claim.
